I inherited a couple ongoing projects when I bought the business from Craig. Here are a couple more that were scheduled in addition to the 12-27 Hart Parr which came and has gone to its new home.

The above 12-25 Lauson LOOKS to be an easy "fix".......too bad we can't see through cast iron.
And it WASN'T.......notice the rocker arm lying on the top of the head.
AND.....the throttle body was UPSIDE DOWN.......AND the carburetor float was SHOT......AND the speed control was RIGIDLY connected to the throttle butterfly so there was NO governor control at all.
Anyway, it's running nicely NOW and here's a photo of it while still in the shop:

Hopefully, when weather permits, there will be some video soon!

This 22-40 Case LOOKS to be a fairly straight forward project too but, as Craig documented at his site, you can't see through iron and an outstanding, original, 17-30 Type A Minneapolis turned from what was SUPPOSED to be an easy fix into a major endeavor....... :( .............. There is a 4 feed lubricator on the other side which, in addition to the pressure system, oils the cylinders as well. The purpose was undoubtedly for supplying extra oil for when using kerosene as fuel.

Here's a nice shot of the tag.
This one has been waiting in the wings for some time too. This K Rumely (12-20) is going to need some major attention.
